Scramble gets more competitive every year. The main reason is constantly increasing
number of well-qualified applicants.
For the last three years 2007-2010
- Number of IMGs participating in the Scramble has increased by 62%
- Number of available residency positions has decreased by 33%
- Average chances to obtain a residency position during the scramble have depreciated
from 15% to 6.5%
